Madrid in the Champions League

On Wednesday night Real Madrid will take the field in the Santiago Bernabeu where they will face off against a team that ended Madrid's undefeated streak in the competition. Madrid is historically the best team to ever play in the Champions League thanks to their 9 trophies they have been able to acquire in it. But Madrid's inability to win it in the past few years is something that seems to be really bothering the Madrid hierarchy as well as the fans, which is why they have brought in Jose Mourinho. Who is often referred to as "The Special One" due to his ability to come to a club and completely revolutionize it and take them to there greatest heights. So on Wednesday will he be able to take Madrid to there first final in almost 10 years or will his amazing run end in the Semi finals?

Ronaldo First Player to Score on all La Liga Teams

Cristiano Ronaldo is on the verge of becoming the only player in Spanish football to ever score on all teams in La Liga in one single season. Yesterday night with his late strike on Barcelona made it his18th victim out of La Ligas 19 other teams. If he were to score against Mallorca in the last game of the competition at home he will accomplish yet another feat in his illustrious career. He has completely destroyed all the scoring records held by the greatest players to ever play not only at Madrid, but every other team in the world as well!

Ronaldo Overtakes Messi for the Pichichi

Yesterday Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 42nd goal of the season breaking the record of 41 goal in one single La Liga season with 4 games still left to play. What makes this even more impressive is that he set that record last season scoring 41 goal last campaign and has now broken it with his all important goal that gave them the win last night in Barcelona. With this goal he has overtaken Messi in the race for the Pichichi this season, Messi failed to score last night against there bitter rivals Madrid while Ronaldo did not. Messi sits at 41 goals in La Liga this season with 4 games left to play even tho La Liga is all but lost for Barcelona it will not stop Messi from continuing to score goals and compete for the Pichichi and the Golden Boot. So while La Liga is all but over the race for the Pichichi is one that is still alive and up for grabs between the two best players in the world Ronaldo and Messi!

Madrid gets the Best of Barca

Today we were entertained by the two best teams in the world in a game that is bigger than any other "El Classico". This game pitted Real Madrid against there greatest rival Barcelona in a game that ultimately decided the League title. The fact that Madrid was able to beat Barcelona, thanks to a late strike by Cristiano Ronaldo, means that they are now 7 points ahead of Barcelona and with only 12 points left Madrid is sure to win the title. This victory has come at a perfect time for Madrid, because they have pounced back for their earlier loss to Munich in Tuesdays Champions League tie in which they were defeated 2-1. So now with this new installed confidence they will make it hell for Bayern when they visit the Santiago Beranabeu this Wednesday. On the contrary this loss could not have come at a worse time for Barcelona seeing as they are coming from a 1-0 loss to Chelsea and must play them once more on Tuesday in order to attempt to come back and sneak into the Champions League final. "Ronaldo suffered boot theft prior to Bayern game"

    1. A few days ago during Madrid's Champions League tie against Bayern Munich, three of Cristiano Ronaldo's soccer cleats were stolen from the Real Madrid visitor locker room. Along with his three pairs there was also a pair stolen from both Karim Benzema and Mesut Ozil and a few jerseys. The amazing thing is that the Munich's locker rooms do not have cameras in them like all of the other world beaters that participate in this prestigious competition. My question is how safe is this stadium since it will be host of the Champions League final? The Bayern police are currently investigating the issue, but in the while a German shoe maker has allegedly donated three traditional Bavarian brogues to Ronaldo to replace his loss.                                                                                                                Source;  http://www.espn.co.uk/football/sport/story/146820.html
