Madrid Top International Team

Madrid is now the team that has the most international players out on duty this week with 16 players playing for their respective teams. This is great for Madrid seeing as their players are regarded as the best in their respective countries if they are being called up by their national teams. Not only that but most of these players play for some of the top National teams in the world such as Germany, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, France, among other!

Ronaldo Silences Early Catalan Celebrations

On Sunday night we witnessed one of the most heated rivalries to ever exist in the soccer world. A Madrid vs. Barca has always been an enormous game one of the biggest in the soccer world, but now perhaps even more due to the the two best soccer players in the world facing off head to head in these games. First it was Ronaldo who stunned Camp Nou with his left footed strike on the near post, 10 minutes later Messi equalized with a rather lucky goal that he was able to get behind and simply tap it in past Casillas. In the second half Messi gave Farca the lead with a free kick, but it wasnt over there. Just as Barca looked to be gaining control of the game and the stadium grew louder Ronaldo put it past Valdez to make it 2-2 and silence Camp Nou despite playing with a dislocated shoulder!

Madrid vs Barca, CR7 vs Messy

Tomorrow night Madrid and Barcelona face off in yet another classico that is sure to be another thriller. There is a lot more riding on this game for Madrid than there is for Barca seeing as they hold an 8 point lead at the top of the table. If Madrid is to when they will cut that lead to 5 points, but if they are to lose then the deficit will be 11 points which will a significant amount at this point in the season. Not only that but CR7 will go head to head with Messy, they are currently tied with 6 goals a piece in La Liga and will be looking to pull away from one another and not only that, but also to score that winning goal that will show why they are so heavily revered by their teammates. So stay tuned to see how this epic game unfolds! Hala Madrid

Ronaldo's First Hat Trick in CL

Surprisingly Ronaldo had never scored a hat trick in Champions League until yesterday when he got 3 on to Ajax. This is surprising for a player of his caliber and even more considering all the doubles he has had.

Ronaldo Hat Trick and Benzeme Stunner

Last night Madrid, went to Amsterdam Arena and completely dominated Ajax the home team the entire game. They proved to be too much for the Dutch champions. They were able to cruse to an easy win thanks to a Ronaldo Hat trick and a Benzeme bicycle kick. Kaka had an amazing game perhaps his best since he joined the Madrid side. Now the question is will they be able to out class Barca as they did tonight and get back in to La Liga race.

Ramos or is it Ozil?

According to reports Ramos decided to wear Ozil's jersey for the second half of the Deportivo game on Sunday. Ozil was subbed of by Mourinho because the was not playing at the level we all know he is capable of and Ramos decided to wear his shirt under his in order to show his support in case he scored a goal. So that he could dedicate the goal to his teammate.

Madrid Back in Form

On Sunday, Madrid was able to come back, from a 1-0 deficit early on, and eventually win the game 5-0. It was a Ronaldo equalizer from the spot that put them back in the game after Di Maria was fouled at the edge of the box. Then came Di Maria to make it 2-1 which would prove to be enough even though Ronaldo was able to add another 2 to his personal tally and ge his hat trick on the night. Madrid showed they are back and strong, but their real test comes this weekend when they play Barcelona next Sunday. With a 8 point difference in favor of Barcelona (Farca), Madrid really have no room forr error and will have to go and get those 3 points this weekend.

MVP Ricky

Ricky Kaka has made an impressive return to Madrid's side helping them win their last match 8-0. Ricky was the scorer of 3 of the eight goals and also gave out an assist against Millionarios. This has caught Mou's eye since neither Ozil or Modric have been performing at their best maybe its time to give Kaka a shot at the starting spot. He has pace, goal, and every quality that can make or break a game. Kaka was given the MVP trophy that night as well as being made the captain of the team on the night. We will have to wait and see if Mou decides to give him the start this weekend when they play Deportivo.

Madrid Win with Little Flair

The game that got postponed on Sunday due to a sabotage of the stadiums lights was played Monday night instead. Madrid where able to cruse to an easy win against the Rayo side that played to the best of their abilities they were unlucky to give away a penalty to Ronaldo when they were only down 1-0 which helped seal their fate after Ronaldo Converted from the spot and made it 2-0 By this point the game was over. Madrid won thanks to Benzemes early goal and Ronaldo's late penalty. But questions still remain as to whether these is the right level Madrid should be playing at?

Madrid VS. Rayo Rescheduled

Madrid's game has been rescheduled due to the the fact that somebody cut the lights before the start of the match in order for it to be postponed. The game will be played tomorrow night in Rayo's stadium. The Madrid players did not seem to happy with the decision seeing as they have a very tight schedule in which they will be playing many games in a very short period. The surprise was that Sergio Ramos was named as a starter before the match was postponed. Considering Ramos sat out the all important City game last week!

Dramatic End

Madrid began the game against City very well they dominated the entire first half. Shot after shot the Madrid players had on goal yet they were not able to get anything out of it due to some great goal keeping by Joe Hart. It was in the second half that goals began to pour in. First it was to come from the substitute Dzeko of City who was able to make it 1-0 for the visitors. Following the goal Mou subbed both Benzema and Modric out on to the field. With this Marcelo was able to level the score. But in the 86th minute City looked to win the game after making it 2-1 with a well taken free kick. But it was not to be when Benzema equalized one minute later. The games was tied 2-2, and then came Ronaldo in the last minute of the game he was able to beat Hart down low for the third of the game and take a 3 points from that game!

Two Most Expensive Teams

Madrid and City not only are the current champions of their respective countries but they also boast the two most expensive teams in world football. City has highly rated talents Silva, Ballotelli, Tevez, Dzeko, Toure, Hart, and many others. While Madrid has the likes of Ronaldo, Ramos, Cassillas, Pepe, Alonso, Benzema, Modric, Ozil, among others. Both teams are each valued at more than 1 billion dollars each.

Madrid Debut in CL

Tomorrow night Madrid will take on Manchester City on what it seems like will be one of the biggest games of the season for both teams. The thing is that there is a lot more riding on this game for Madrid than there is for City. This is because of Madrid's bad start in La Liga having already dropped 8 points. Some could say its a must win for Madrid in order for them to be able to get off to a good start in the CL and also get back into a winning momentum for the weekends clash in La Liga!

Top Paid Players in the World

The highest paid players in the world are surprisingly not Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, because they are considered the worlds best by many. This is a clear indication that they both need new contracts since there current ones are lacking in compassion to their productivity on the field!

Madrid In the Champions League

Madrid Stumble Further Away from Barcelona

Real Madrid were immediately surprised in the first minute of the game by a very well taken corner. Madrid failed to clear properly and they payed the price by going down 1-0 in the first minute of the game. Madrid was forced to go on the offensive the rest of them game. This was bad because the game started getting physical with a lot of nasty tackles that were not in Madrid's favor. In the second half Benzeme and Modric came on to try and help the team were it was lacking, but it was to no avail. Ronaldo had a very good appeal for a penalty but the ref was not having it. With this Madrid now trail Barcelona by 8 points in only 4 matches played.

Madrid Estrena La Verde En Sevilla

Madrid are set to give there green jersey its first outing of the season tomorrow night against Sevilla. A team in which Real Madrid has beaten 6-2 in very exciting matches. Ronaldo has scored 6 goals in the last two games against the Sevilla outfit. Madrid will be looking to get off to a strong start after there slow start to the season . All should be well now that they have gotten over the Ronaldo unhappy issue. Madrid should be in good shape after this game ready for their game against Machester City on Tuesday.

Ronaldo says He is not Happy at Madrid

After the Granada game in which Ronaldo scored two goals and later limped off the the field in the 70 minute  with an injury. After the game he was questioned on why he did not celebrate either of his goals and he stated that he was not happy at the club. He has now gone into detail and said that he is not looking for more money but instead looking for more respect and backing for awards from the Madrid office and the dressing room. Madrid is set to offer him a more improved contract after he sated he was not happy at the club and are planning to tie him down for life.

Madrid's Bad Start

Madrid have only been able to claim 4 out of 9 disputed La Liga points which is one of Madrid's worst start in a few years. While there greatest rivals to the title have taken 9 out of 9 points. Madrid tied to Valencia on the opening day of the season and later lost to Getafe and finally took a well deserved victory last Sunday to Granada thanks to a brace from CR7 and a single from Higuian. Madrid will have to work hard if they want to retain their La Liga crown this season.

Madrid Take Down Baca in the Spanish Supercopa

Real Madrid came form behind to beat Barca 2-1 in their home stadium by a 4-4 aggregate on away goals. Goals from Ronaldo and Higuian proved to be enough for Madrid to overcome there greatest rivals at home. Madrid completely dominated the game in the first half they lost some dominance when Barca had Adriano sent off for a last stitch tackle on Ronaldo who was gonna have a one on one with Valdez. The second half was a lot closer despite the man down, but it was Madrid's day as they ended up raising the trophy at the end of the night!

Modric Joins Madrid

After a long awaited transfer of the Croatian international Luka Modric has finally gotten his wish and joined the reigning Spanish Champions. His long awaited transfer to Real Madrid finally came to a close for 33 million Euros. He had not trained with Spurs all summer ever since the end of the Euro Cup in which Croatia ended up losing in the first round. There is a lot of hype around his transfer, because he is seen as direct competition to the German Ozil who has had little to know opposition in the last few years for the teams number 10 role. Modric will wear the number 19 on his back this season as it is one of the only numbers left in the squad.

First Time 7 Madrid Players in one Semi Final

This past weekend 7 players from the Madrid squad participated in the Spain vs Portugal match three of the players came from the Portuguese squad and 4 from the Spanish side were on the field at once in addition to the other Madrid player on the Spanish bench. This is the first time this has happened in Euro history making Madrid seem like such a power house since they have so many players doing very well for club and country.

Jose Mourinho at the Euros

The Real Madrid coach Mou has been spotted at the Euros surveying his players and cheering them on he was present in the Portugal and Germany game in order to watch over many of his players but he did say he was still rooting for his home country Portugal despite the fact that Germany is host to two of his players Ozil and Khedira. he was also at Spains opening game in order to see his players take on the Italians this Sunday morning. However he will be able to attend the game the Frenches opening game due to the fact that he has another professional matter he must attend in another country.

Kaka asks Ronaldo for Advice

It has been reported that Kaka has asked Brazil and Madrids former great Ronaldo for advise on what he should do with his situation in Madrid. While other big clubs are interested he does not know whether joining another club is the right move for him or whether he should seek glory at the current La Liga champions?

Madrid in the Euros

Real Madrid has 11 players in the Europe this summer competing for the grand prize. Among them are Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo, Pepe, and Coentrao for Germany its Ozil, and Khedira and for Spain its Cassillas, Ramos, Arbeloa, Albiol, and Alonso in the French side Benzema is the Frenchs star striker for this competition. So there will be a lot of competition among them in order to beat each other out durin this months Eurocup they get to match there skills among themselves while on international duty. The question is who will come out on top?

3 Years from The Legend

Cristiano Ronaldo is 3 years away from catching Raul if he keeps up his 38 goals a season in La Liga. He has scored a total of 113 goals in only 3 years for the Madrid outfit in La Liga alone! If he keeps up scoring at least 38 goals a season for the next 3 years then he will pass the ex Madrid captain Raul who hold the record with his 226 goals for Madrid in La Liga. Ronaldo would become an eternal legend for the club if he accomplishes this fit in such a short time!

"El PSG da 25 kilos por Kaká"

The French team PSG has come out with an enormous offer for Kaka of 25 million Euros. Madrid are asking for 27 million but are considering accepting the initial 25 million. Kaka is also considering it, because he wants to be able to have more playing time in order to participate in Brazil's 2014 World Cup campaign in his native Brazil. The fact that PSG is wiling to offer him 9 million Euros a year the same he is receiving at Madrid and more playing time is something that Kaka is seriously considering along with Madrid who would see an extra 25 million Euros in order to improve the squad for next year. The fact that Kaka just turned 30 is something Madrid must consider as well.

Ronaldo Stars as Captain

During the friendly in Kuwait Cristiano Ronaldo was given the honor of wearing the captain armbadn in the first half, due to the fact that he was the most veteran player on the team that was on the field. This is a role that is not unfamiliar with Ronaldo seeing as he is the Portuguese National team captain. Ronaldo scored the second goal of the night in Kuwait given Madrid a 2-0 victory and 3 million pounds to take back to Madrid!

Mourinho Ronaldo deserves Balon de Oro

In a pres conference Mourinho has assured us that Cristiano Ronaldo deserves the Balon de oro this year, over Messi because he is a more complete player and has had a better season than the Argentinian. Over the season Ronaldo's 46 goals have proved to be determintal this season having scored on all the teams in La Liga this term while Messi may have scored 50 Mou said there worth nothing because Barca lost the title to Madrid!

Ronaldo and Madrid Better than Barca and Messi

Ronaldo spoke with Marca and was asked whether he thought Messi or himself were a better player at the moment and he responded by saying that at the moment he is better than Messi and that Madrid is better than barca as well. In a season where Madrid topped Barca and gave Madrid a devastating 121 goals in La Liga and 100 point both new records. Ronaldo contributed much to the success of this Madrid team this season with his vital 46 goals that helped give Madrid the title.

Madrid Breaks the Record and Raises the Trophy

Tonight Madrid beat Mallorca 4-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu, where they received the La Liga trophy at the end of the game and the celebrations began all around Madrid! Ronaldo was not able to overcome Messi in the Pichichi race but he was able to achieve and incredible feat never seen before by scoring on Mallorca he became the first ever player to score on all La Liga teams in one season. Madrid as a team also broke many records this season they sealed the 100 point record with the win tonight and set the bar even higher for the most goals scored in a campaign with there 4 tonight. So tonight its gonna be complete madness in the Bernabeu and all across Madrid! Hala Madrid!

Madrid Chase 100 Point Record

If Madrid win or lose tomorrow there will be a party either way. The Santiago Bernabeu will be flooded in white to celebrate the 32nf title of this great club. But If Madrid wins there will be more of an incentive to celebrate because they will have broken the record for most points in one season with 100 points no one has ever broken 100 before. They already have broken the record for most goals scored in a season. Tomorrow against Mallorca should be a historic night with the title and the year of the records.

Ronaldo Chases The Pichichi

With Messi having played earlier tonight and Barcelona drawing with Betis, Ronaldo tomorrow has a small chance of taking the Pichichi title from Messi. Messi did not score in there 2-2 tie with Betis and has left the season with 50 goals in La Liga. Now Ronaldo has one game to score at least 5 goals to even it out and 6 to win it. Whatever the result tomorrow will be sure to be in for a thriller. If Ronaldo scores he will also become the first player ever to score on all La Liga teams in one season.

Madrid's Vacation or Friendly to Kuwait

Madrid will be heading to Kuwait on May 16th in order to play the Kuwait national team that day. This is a problem for the international players that will be affronting the Euro Cup this summer like Ronaldo, Ramos, Benzema, Cassilas, Pepe, Coentrao, Arbeloa, Ozil, Khedira, and Alonso because they wil have to meet up with their respective national teams the day after. So while this will bring in good money for Madrid it could affect the performance of these stars at the competition. The Madrid coach Mou is forced to play all of his starters since Kuwait will be paying top dollar for the starting team to show up.

Madrid Begin to Work on Stadium

The reason that the Santiago Bernabeu was unavailable for the Copa Del Rey final between Barcelona and Athletic de Bilbao was because it was having work done on it. Many fans of both teams did not buy this story they said it was just a way to get out of letting their arch rival Barcelona play the final here. But now Madrid has began to change the seats in their stadium proving that this was not a simple made up excuse.

"El Madrid baraja la opción de Piszczek para el lateral derecho"

Its no secret that Madrid are in the market for a right back since this season it seems that it has been one of the major weak links in the team at times. Over 8 players have attempted to play that role this season Ramos was the best in the position but due to the injury of Carvalho he was forced to move into the center back position. So since then Varane, Altintop, Lass, Coentrao, Albiol, and Arbeloa have all tried that position with the most success coming when Arbeloa has played. So now Madrid are looking at the tall 19 year old Polish player Piszczek that became a starter this season in the German champs team Dortmund. He is season as a prime candidate this summer for Madrid to add more depth to that position.

Madrid Chase 100 Point Record

After Saturday nights win over Granada, Madrid moved 1 step closer to breaking the La Liga all time points record. If they win next week against Mallorca then they will become the first ever team to break 100 points in La Liga. This is another historic moment for the Madrid players who have also already broken the single season scoring record in one season. This season Madrid is the team of records, because they have broken many records that many thought unattainable. So stay tuned to this weekend and will find out if they have what it takes ti break the record Hala Madrid!

Madrid Win 32nd La Liga Trophy

Earlier today Madrid beat Athletico Bilbao by a 3-0 score line that gave Real Madrid their 32 La Liga crown breaking there own record of 31 La Liga titles. It was Higuian that made it 1-0, followed by Ozil who made it 2-0 and finally its not a party if Ronaldo doesn't score he made it 3-0 and game over early in the 2nd half. The game had many misses on both sides but in the end Madrid proved to have to much quality for this very young Bilbao team having Martinez sent of didn't help either. With this win they have now solidified there claim at the top of the mountain as far as La Liga goes and have achieved a total of 115 goal in la Liga this term. This is many of these players first league title in any league and for many like Mou its just another among many. This has made him the only coach to win 4 major titles in 4 different countries in the top leagues in the world. Hala Madrid congratulations on an amazing season!

Madrid Jersey's for 2012/2013 Season

The jerseys that the Real Madrid players will be wearing next season have been revealed. Madrid will go back to a more typical jersey than the one they wore this season with the gold stripes. Instead they will be going back to a more traditional white and blue stripped jersey as for the away kit it will remain black but will have a more of a bright yellow color to the stripes opposed to the gold ones this season. As for the third kit it is rumored that Adidas is working on a green jersey opposed to the one they wore this season there lucky bright red jersey that has rarely been seen throughout Madrid history.

"¿Ibrahimovic al Madrid?"

It has been reported that about 3 months ago Mourinho spoke to Ibrahimovic in order to see if he was interested in a summer move to Real Madrid. According to the news Ibra said that he would consider a return to Spain as a good thing for his career and seems to have given him the green light to attempt and sign him. Mourinho will be in market for a top class striker if they were to sell Higuian who seems to be out of favor with the Madrid coach. This would reunite Mou and Ibra once more since he played under "The Speacial Ones" watchful eyes already during there time together in Inter Milan in which they where able to win 2 titles together. For this reason Mou knows that have an experienced striker like Ibra could prove to be just what he needs in order to win it all at Madrid. With this being said Ibra's last spell in La Liga did not go so well under Guardiola at Barcelona, but perhaps Ibra's style of play is better suited for Madrid I guess will find out wont we! ;)

Madrid One step from the Title

After beating Seville early today Madrid have now claimed 91 points in La Liga one step away from  claiming the title. They are one win away from taking La Liga however if Barcelona were to lose tonight then Madrid will claim La Liga as early as tonight! They beat Seville thanks to an early goal form Cristiano Ronaldo who later had one of the post as well. Early in the first half Madrid made it 2-0 with a goal from Benzema, 5 minutes later he made it 3-0 with a well taken goal from a cross from Ramos. Ronaldo continued his impressive run by scoring his 43 goal of the competition on his way to a consecutive Pichichi scoring title. So will the Madrid players be taking a visit to Cibeles or will Barcelona be able to prolong La Liga another week at the very least?

Madrid's Race to the Title

Tomorrow night in the Santiago Bernabeu, Real Madrid will make a push for the title that could end La Liga all in one day! If Real Madrid beats Seville tomorrow and Barcelona fails to beat Rayo then Real Madrid will become the La Liga champions as soon as tomorrow night! This will give Madrid there 33rd La Liga crown breaking a record set by them with there 32 most all time! Tomorrow could be another big night at the Bernabeu where Madrid could bring yet another trophy to there faithful and end the season on a positive note! It could also see Cristiano expanding on his 42 goals in La Liga continuing to break scoring recrod after record this season!

"Mourinho da el "sí" al fichaje de Lucas Moura"

After crashing out of the Champions League semi finals Real Madrid will look to add more depth to their squad. One of the players listed on Real Madrid's summer planner is Lucas Moura who plays in the Brazilian league. He is a 19 year old midfielder wiz who has cached the eye of many of Europe's top teams. Now that Jose Mourinho has given the green light to negotiate for him Madrid must fight for him among other European powerhouses such as Chelsea, Manchester United, and City. The Brazilian youngster is being valued at about 50 million euros but is very unlikely any team will pay that amount for such a young player that is very much unproven on the big stage. This summer promises to be one of the most exciting transfer windows yet stay tuned to see how this plays out!

Madrid Crash Out from the Spot

In last nights very anticipated Champions League tie against Real Madrid and Bayern Munich there was an early surge from the the host team! Madrid began the game by scoring 2 very early goals that gave them the win in the series from none other than there star man Crisitano Ronaldo! But just as the game was coming to an end Pepe fouled Mario Gomez in the 18 yard box and was shown a yellow and a Penalty kick was awarded to Bayern, Robben went on to score just barely as Cassillas got his hands on it and almost saved it. The game was won by Madrid 2-1 but did not prove to be enough since Bayern hand won the 1st leg 2-1 as well. Overtime was much of the same ended in a stalemate. So they went on to the penalty shoot out in which Ronaldo, Kaka, and Ramos ended up missing there spot kicks giving Bastian the chance to seal it for the visitors and finish he did. With that las PK he sent Bayern through to the final to face Chelsea in a game in which they will be missing Gustavo, Badstuber, and Alias because of there 3rd yellow. Surprisingly Ronaldo missed a spot kick in which he had already converted in the first half but was unable to thanks to an amazing save from Neuer much of the same was true for Kaka. Although Cassillas was able to save two Pk's to prolong the shoot out Ramos sealed Madrid's fate by blasting it high over the bar! So now Madrid has to look forward and concentrate in winning there last four match in La Liga to pick up the La Liga crown and claim the throne as the best in Spain!

"Real Madrid Vs. Bayern Munich, 2012 UEFA Champions League: Several Key Players A Yellow Away From Suspension"

Going into tonight's huge semi-final draw in the Champions League with Real Madrid playing Bayern Munich are several key players from both teams going in one yellow card away from missing the final of their respective teams are to go through. On Real Madrid's squad Sergio Ramos, Xabi Alonso, Fabio Coentrao, and Gonzalo Higuain are one yellow from missing the final so if any of them were to see a yellow in tonights game and Madrid goes through then theyd be unable to play the Final. On Bayern's side there are as many as 7 starters on two yellows: Phillip Lahm, Holger Badstuber, David Alaba, Jerome Boateng, Toni Kroos, Luis Gustavo, and Thomas Muller. In last names game as many as 4 Chelsea players will now miss the final because of to many yellows those being Terry, Ramirez, Ivanovic, and Meireles. So who ever goes through tonight must be wary of not getting any yellow cards to key players, because they will already have an advantage over Chelsea if they are able to get to the final with a full squad. THe only question left is who will win tonight? I think the answer to that is simple do you? Hala Madrid

Cristiano Ronaldo: "Espero que el Bernabéu haga el primer gol"

In an interview conducted by 'Bwin" Cristiano Ronaldo said that he hopes that the Bernabeu faithful have a great influence in the game and can help them overcome there 2-1 deficit against Bayern Munich on Wednesday night. He believes that the goal scored by Mesut Ozil could prove to be priceless since all they would have to do is win 1-0 at the Bernabeu in order to go on to next round. Also he spoke about how a potential final could be in order for Madrid and their greatest rivals Barcelona. But he said the most important thing is that Madrid makes it to the final regardless of who they meet Barcelona or Chelsea! He ended the interview by saying that he feels very comfortable at Madrid and hopes to stay here and win many more titles with Madrid!
